Aaron Clay, DO, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in adult care. He brings more than seven years of professional experience to Serenity Mental Health Centers in Chandler, Arizona, where he sees patients between the ages of 18-60.
In 2012, Dr. Clay received his osteopathic medicine degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. He later completed his residency training at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. During his time in school, Dr. Clay earned the Commitment to Service Award: Medical Student Liaison.
At Serenity Mental Health Centers, Dr. Clay diagnoses and treats a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety and depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and postpartum depression.
Dr. Clay’s goal with every patient he sees is to seek out-of-the-box solutions to help them find lasting relief from symptoms. He uses advanced diagnostic tools and interviewing techniques to gain a clear picture of every patient’s past treatments, medical history, and social history before recommending treatment.
Some of the innovative solutions Dr. Clay utilizes to create individualized treatment plans include transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS therapy), ketamine therapy, medication management, and ADHD testing.
When he isn’t providing patients with personalized, compassionate care, Dr. Clay enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, gardening, and astronomy.
